Concert
The orchestra's mission is to bring the symphonic repertoire to life everywhere and for everyone in Île-de-France, making it accessible to everyone.
The Orchestre National d'Île-de-France, which has 95 permanent musicians and is based at the Philharmonie de Paris, performs about 100 concerts each season throughout the region, offering the people of Île-de-France a rich repertoire covering four centuries of music.
The orchestra pursues an ambitious and open artistic policy, nurtured by regular collaborations with artists from diverse backgrounds. It promotes contemporary creation by welcoming composers in residence such as Anna Clyne or Dai Fujikura, for commissions of symphonic works, lyrical performances or musical tales that enrich its repertoire.
