Composer of mixed instrumental and electroacoustic music, Sasha J. Blondeau also writes pieces for the theater and is interested in the interaction between instrumental and electroacoustic writing. Blondeau's work on compositional spaces attempts to provide a theoretical and musical framework for the organization of material and its relationship to temporal and formal issues.

Through the notion of (topological) space, they work on notions of distance, neighborhood, continuity/discontinuity within musical entities of different scales forming a set of "compositional territories.

Sasha J. Blondeau is a saxophonist and pianist, and holds a Doctorate in composition from IRCAM and Sorbonne University.
