Horse Lords

Horse Lords is an avant-garde rock band from Baltimore on the east coast of the United States. Their first album was released in 2012 (four more have followed since), after which Horse Lords has performed at festivals such as Hopscotch Music Festival, North by Northeast, and Fields Fest, sometimes in collaboration with Matmos, Guerilla Toss, and Guardian Aliens.

An experimental group that sits at the intersection of krautrock, post-punk, Appalachian and African musical traditions, polyrhythmic, arcane chords and electronics, Horse Lords also looks to composers such as La Monte Young and James Tenney for inspiration, as well as to organological research as their instruments evolve.
